Backend Intern

About the Internship

As a Backend Intern at Earnne, you will support the development of backend services used by our web and mobile products. You may work on APIs, data flows, internal tools, and database-related tasks alongside the backend engineering team in a remote learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with backend APIs and services used by Earnne web and mobile products.
• Work with application data and databases.
• Help investigate bugs and backend issues.
• Contribute to small features under guidance from the engineering team.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
• Document selected backend changes or internal processes.

Candidate Profile

• Familiarity with PHP, MySQL, and REST APIs is helpful.
• Basic understanding of HTTP, JSON, and server-side application flow.
• Comfort using Git for version control.
• Problem-solving skills and clear written communication.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Internship Structure

This is a 4 weeks voluntary remote internship with an expected commitment of approximately 10–20 hours per week. Tasks are assigned based on your current skills and the needs of the Backend engineering team. The internship is intended to provide practical learning and project experience.
